What's new?
Under the amended law on obligatory insurance, effective in Poland as of 11 Dec 2009, motor vehicle owners must insure their liability applying increased minimum sums insured, which amount to:
€ 2,500,000 to cover personal injuries resulting from one event
€ 500,000 to cover property losses resulting from one event.
Before the amendment, the respective sums insured amounted to € 1,500,000 and € 300,000.
